The Oxford School Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar Dictionary includes two essential parts, the first being a ‘reference section’ of simple rules, tips and highly useful examples to help students spell, punctuate and write correctly and to the best of their ability at school, in exams and at home.

This divides further into three sections, which include Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar. The second part, which is formatted into an alphabetical word list of common words, that can be difficult, with inflections, but no meanings, highlights (with the use of analysis from the Oxford Children’s Corpus), the words that are the most frequently misspelled by this age group, and helps every student to improve.
