Non Fiction
Non-fiction books are essential tools for teaching children a range of subjects and topics. Children, especially young children, will not be held captive at all by teachers simply droning on at the front of a classroom. Kids love visuals and interaction, and therefore non-fiction books are so crucial as they allow children to explore a subject at their own pace. We have ensured that our books, which range from Nursery level through to Key Stage 3, are interesting and fun for children of all ages.
Our selection of non-fiction books for kids covers a huge selection of topics such as art and history, geography and science, and maths and citizenship. We can provide you with the educational tools to ignite the interest and passions of your young pupils. Laburnum House has been supplying non-fiction books to school and libraries for decades and so we have a fairly good understanding of the titles required to keep up with the national curriculum requirements. However, we also understand that the education system is always changing with new demands being placed upon both teachers and pupils. So, if there is a title or subject you need which we don’t yet stock then please, get in touch and we will do our best to get it in for you.
Our selection of non-fiction works has been divided into easy to find categories below. Simply find the Key Stage you require, select the subject and browse our range of tried and tested titles that kids love learning from.
